Privacy Policy
How Even Financial collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information. Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
This policy applies to Even Financial Pty Ltd (ABN 75 665 667 989), trading as Even Financial ("we", "us"). Even Financial Pty Ltd (Authorised Credit Representative 546866) and its director, Arron Oliver (Authorised Credit Representative 546869), are authorised credit representatives of Quantum Business Finance Pty Ltd, Australian Credit Licence No. 395230 ("Quantum", our licensee).
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You can read the APPs on the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner's website at oaic.gov.au.
What personal information we collect
To help you find and apply for finance, we usually need to collect:
- identity and contact details — name, date of birth, residential address, phone number and email address;
- identity documents — for example your driver's licence, passport, visa or Medicare card;
- financial information — income, employment details, payslips, tax returns and notices of assessment, bank and credit card statements, assets, liabilities and living expenses;
- business information, if you're applying for business finance — ABN, business structure, financial statements, and details of directors, partners, trustees and guarantors;
- details of what you want to finance — for example a vehicle, equipment or property, including invoices and supplier details;
- credit-related information, where it's relevant to your application; and
- records of our communications with you.
We don't usually need sensitive information (such as health information). If it becomes relevant — for example, if you tell us about a hardship situation — we'll only collect it with your consent and only use it for that purpose.
You can make a general enquiry without telling us who you are, or by using a pseudonym. However, we can't arrange finance for you without identifying you.
How we collect it
We collect most information directly from you — by phone, email, in meetings, through the forms on this website, and through the secure links we send you to upload documents.
With your consent, we may also collect information from others, such as your accountant or employer, lenders, our licensee, bank-statement retrieval services you choose to use, and public registers such as the Australian Business Register and ASIC. If we receive information about you from someone else, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
If you give us information about another person (for example a co-applicant, director or guarantor), please make sure they know you're doing so and have seen this policy.
Why we collect it
We use your personal information to:
- understand your needs and assess which finance options may suit you;
- prepare and submit applications to lenders on your behalf and manage them through to settlement;
- verify your identity and meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including responsible lending obligations and our licensee's compliance requirements;
- keep records, handle complaints and manage our relationship with you; and
- let you know about products and services that may interest you, and send occasional messages such as birthday greetings (you can opt out at any time).
If you don't give us the information we ask for, we may not be able to help you or submit your application.
Automated decisions
We do not use computer programs to make decisions about you. Some of our tools calculate or organise information, such as repayment estimates or a shortlist of lenders, but every assessment and recommendation we make is made personally by your broker, in consultation with you.
Lenders we submit applications to may use automated processes in their own credit decisions. Their privacy policies explain how they handle your information.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where it's needed for the purposes above, with your consent, or where the law requires or allows it. This may include:
- lenders and financiers you apply to, and their service providers;
- our licensee, Quantum Business Finance, for compliance, auditing and record-keeping;
- people you authorise to act for you, such as your accountant or solicitor;
- suppliers, valuers or insurers involved in your transaction, where relevant;
- service providers who help us run our business — for example our customer relationship management system, cloud hosting and storage, email delivery, e-signature and bank-statement retrieval services; and
- the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), regulators, courts or government agencies where required.
We don't sell your personal information.
Disclosure of personal information overseas
Even Financial is based in Australia. Some of the service providers we use to run our business, including our customer relationship management, email, website hosting and document storage providers, store or process personal information outside Australia. We may also disclose your personal and credit-related information to lenders, to our credit licensee Quantum Business Finance Pty Ltd, and to their service providers, some of whom are located overseas.
Our service providers are contractually required to protect the personal information we share with them and to use it only to provide their services to us, or as required by law.
The countries in which these recipients are likely to be located include the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Estonia, Germany, Ireland and other European Union countries, New Zealand, the Philippines, India, Singapore and Japan. Because cloud-based services may store or access information in more than one location, your information may occasionally be held in other countries as well.
Before we disclose your personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, unless an exception under the Privacy Act applies.
Credit information
We are not a credit reporting body. Lenders you apply to will usually obtain a credit report about you as part of assessing your application, and their own privacy and credit reporting policies explain how they handle that information. Where we hold credit-related information about you, we handle it in accordance with the Privacy Act.
How we keep it secure
We store personal information in secure, access-controlled systems. Documents you upload through our secure links travel over encrypted connections and are stored in our client management system rather than on this website. Access is limited to people who need it to help you.
We generally keep client files for at least seven years, as required for regulatory and record-keeping purposes. When we no longer need information, we take reasonable steps to destroy it or de-identify it.
Our website
This website does not use advertising cookies. Some pages load content, such as fonts, from third-party services like Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address. If you use address search on our forms, the text you type is sent to Google to suggest matching addresses.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to count visits to our public pages and measure how well they perform. It records technical information such as the page visited, the referring website, your device and browser type, your approximate country and page-load performance. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. Cloudflare processes this information, including your IP address, on our behalf.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and sources lead to enquiries. It uses cookies to recognise repeat visits and records information such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser type and your approximate location. We have turned off Google's advertising features, so this data is not used to show you ads, and we do not send Google your name, email address, phone number or the contents of any form. Google processes this information, including your IP address, and may do so outside Australia. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by blocking cookies in your browser.

We don't charge for making a request, but may charge a reasonable fee for providing copies. We may need to verify your identity first.
